Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine manual tasks requiring medium to heavy physical effort.
• Assist in maintaining, constructing, and repairing buildings, roads, other structures, and grounds.
• Work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Use hand tools or operate motor-driven equipment.
• Load and unload heavy equipment, supplies, and furniture from trucks by physically lifting items or operating a hand truck or forklift.
• Move heavy supplies, furniture, and equipment.
• Perform work duties as part of a work crew.

Requirements

• Physically able to perform assigned duties.
• Possession of a clear and valid NYS driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift qualification.

Pay

Grade 6 salary: $36,232 + $4,000 location pay = $40,232 total annual compensation.
