Responsibilities
- Perform routine manual tasks requiring medium to heavy physical effort, including outdoor work in inclement weather.
- Use hand tools or operate motor-driven equipment.
- Load and unload heavy equipment, supplies, and furniture from trucks by physically lifting items or operating a hand truck or forklift.
- Move heavy supplies, furniture, and equipment.
- Perform minor maintenance on motor vehicles on campus, such as changing oil and tires or refueling.
Requirements
- No formal education or experience qualifications required.
- Must be physically able to perform assigned duties.
- Possession of a clear and valid NYS driver’s license is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift qualification.
Pay
Grade 6 salary: $36,232 + $4,000 location pay = $40,232 total annual compensation.
