Facility Manager - Multi-Site Operations

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Facility Manager to assess the day-to-day maintenance, operations, and facility needs of three locations. This position will be responsible for ensuring our facilities are safe, well-maintained, operational, and compliant while providing strong leadership to a team of maintenance and facility personnel. The ideal candidate is a working leader who is comfortable troubleshooting and completing hands-on repairs, particularly in electrical and drywall, while also having the ability to organize, prioritize, delegate, and lead a team across multiple facilities. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day facility and maintenance operations for three locationsLead, schedule, train, coach, and develop facility/maintenance team membersAssign work orders and ensure maintenance requests are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedulePerform and oversee hands-on maintenance and repairs, including:Electrical troubleshooting and basic electrical repairsDrywall repair, patching, finishing, and paintingGeneral building maintenancePlumbing and HVAC troubleshooting as neededDoors, locks, fixtures, equipment, and other facility repairsConduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and common areas to identify maintenance needs and safety concernsCoordinate preventative maintenance programs and ensure scheduled work is completedManage outside contractors and vendors when specialized repairs or services are requiredMonitor facility-related expenses, supplies, tools, and materialsMaintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairsEnsure all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies and applicable codes and regulationsRespond to facility emergencies and prioritize urgent repairsCommunicate effectively with leadership and facility staff regarding maintenance needs, projects, and operational concernsTravel between the three locations is needed to provide support and maintain consistent standards of facility Requirements Required Qualifications 3+ years of facility maintenance, building maintenance, or related experienceDemonstrated hands-on experience with electrical repairs and troubleshootingDemonstrated experience with drywall repair, patching, finishing, and paintingPrevious experience leading, supervising, or managing a maintenance/facilities teamStrong knowledge of general building maintenance and repairAbility to read and understand basic electrical diagrams, manuals, and maintenance documentationStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize multiple work orders and manage competing priorities across multiple locationsStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently while also effectively leading a teamValid driver's license and reliable transportation between facilities, if requiredExperience managing contractors and service vendorsExperience with preventative maintenance programs What We're Looking For We are looking for a hands-on leader. You don't need to be afraid of a wrench, ladder, drill, electrical panel, or drywall repair. You need to be able to walk into a problem, figure it out, and either fix it yourself or get the right person on it. The successful candidate will be comfortable picking up a tool when needed, troubleshooting problems, holding the team accountable, and ensuring all three facilities are maintained to a high standard. Physical Requirements This is a hands-on position requiring the ability to perform and oversee physical maintenance activities.
