Responsibilities

• Manages and oversees the building and all warehouse employees (Managers, Supervisors, Employees, Drivers).
• Manages and oversees daily operations of all warehouse duties.
• Sets expectations, motivates, organizes, and encourages teamwork to ensure productivity targets are met.
• Recruits and hires new employees as needed.
• Collaborates with other functional business units, vendors, staff groups, and customers.
• Designs warehouse layout for optimal product flow and handling/processing.
• Develops and ensures adherence to all work procedures and policies.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment.
• Develops warehouse operation improvements to increase throughput and accuracy.
• Works with buyers and sales team on product movement within the warehouse.
• Oversees physical inventory and researches all variances.
• Conducts random audits.
• Manages and approves all employees' time off.
• Handles HR issues in coordination with the HR department.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of warehouse management experience, preferably in a distribution/logistics/warehouse environment.
• Experience in warehousing, inventory, and logistics management.
• Excellent multi-tasking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Fluent with desktop computers and Microsoft Office products.
