About The Opportunity
As a Facility Manager at EMR, you’ll support our NEW non-ferrous warehouse facility and help grow our operations. You’ll lead a dedicated team and represent EMR to local customers. You'll also oversee safety, material processing, inventory, and shipping to ensure daily operations run efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily non-ferrous yard operations, including receiving, processing, inventory management and shipping materials
- Lead, train, and support yard staff to maintain safe, productive and efficient operations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers through reliable service, accurate pricing, and material quality
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards
Qualifications
- Management/supervisory experience of daily operations
- Hands-on experience operating equipment and machinery
- Experience leading a team and committed to developing employees
- Ability to learn our proprietary software
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the recycling or demolition industry
- Knowledge of scrap metal commodities
- Microsoft excel skills
Compensation And Benefits
$75,000+ Salary
Monday-Friday, full-time, year-round
