About the role

The Facility Manager (FM) oversees all work related to the EMCOR Facilities Services (EMCOR) scope responsibility at the site, ensuring all SLA’s and KPI’s are met. The FM develops action plans and Root Cause Analysis to correct issues or underperforming services, manages safety and operational meetings, and supports corporate projects.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate all work through the CMMS system, facilitating DMP meetings with the team.
  • Organize workload to manage day-to-day activities and supervise maintenance personnel and subcontractors.
  • Build relationships with clients and participate in client meetings to improve facility productivity and quality of service.
  • Manage small projects on site and interact with the EMCOR corporate project team.
  • Evaluate physical buildings, assets, equipment, and processes for compliance with standards.
  • Ensure compliance with site KPI metrics and develop action plans when necessary.
  • Develop and deliver presentations related to site performance.
  • Manage vendors' safety and performance while on site.
  • Investigate concerns and escalate issues to EMCOR operation and safety management resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in facilities management and team leadership.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in facilities management and team leadership.
  • OSHA 10 hour and/or 30 Hour card required.
  • Facility Maintenance Professional (FMP), Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Sustainability Facility Professional (SFP), Root Cause Analysis (RCA) certification preferred.
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Enterprise Software and CMMS required.
  • Experience with Corrigo a plus.
  • Ability to read and comprehend safety policies and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to present information in individual and small group situations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with both management and field level employees.

Qualifications

  • Frequent office deskwork, requiring sitting, using phone, and computer.
  • Regularly requires extensive walking during site audits and physical building checks.
  • Occasionally requires climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Mix of office and manufacturing environment with varying levels of noise.
  • Can be loud, with extreme hot/cold temperatures, dust, oil, and debris.
  • Occasionally requires presence on construction projects.
  • Potential overnight travel required.
