Facility Maintenance Worker II

About the role

The Thomson-Hood Veterans Center is seeking a self-motivated and energetic Maintenance Worker II to join their team. This position coordinates and performs the work of employees and assists the supervisor in maintaining the buildings.

Responsibilities

• Operates electrical systems, plumbing systems, sewer and associated equipment
• Performs other duties as required

Requirements

• One year of building maintenance, grounds maintenance, general trades, skilled trades, moving services, or mechanical maintenance experience
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must follow safety procedures, including the use of eye and ear protection when using certain mechanical equipment

Special Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Exposure to extreme temperatures requires adherence to safety procedures

Pay

Salary range: $15.13 - $18.79 per hour with an approved Locality Premium of $3.66 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time position with eligibility for overtime pay.
