Facility Maintenance Technician III

Responsibilities

• Reviews service requests for repairs and maintenance, determines nature of problem, and recommends appropriate solutions.
• Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.
• Captures work as required to document specific needs (materials, supplies, instructions, etc).
• Assists in the movement of furniture, materials, and equipment as required.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Works with or oversees subcontractor activities as directed by supervisor or work schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in an area of specialization.
• Must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in industrial technology or certificate from an industrial electrical course.
• Experience working as a licensed electrician.
• Knowledge of lighting, lighting control and commercial systems.
• Experience installing rigid conduit and EMT up to 3 inches.
• Working knowledge of NEC, sizing wire and transformers, calculating conduit fill.
• Experience troubleshooting and replacing 3 phase motors up to 60hp.
• Experience with a CMMS or Maintenance Management System (i.e. Maximo, MP2, etc.).
• NFPA-70E training preferred.

Schedule

Typical work hours are 10 pm – 6:30am; hours may vary based on business demand. Overtime and weekend hours may be scheduled to support our customer.

This position may require a valid Driver’s License. This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization. This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location.
