Facility Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician. This position is a hands-on technician position responsible for performing work assignments, identifying needed work, preparing work areas, and conducting work to ensure the safety of occupants, continuity of business operations, and the cleanliness of all work areas. The position will support Fort Pierce/Port Saint Lucie area.

Experience and Skills Required

- Requires minimum 5 yrs related experience - Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record - Customer interface (communications, problem solving, work prioritization & scheduling) - Electrical skills (changing and installing lights, electrical outlets, lights, minor electrical, and troubleshooting) - Familiarity with Emergency Generators, Automatic Transfer Switches, and Fire / Life / Safety Systems. - HVAC service and repairs - Plumbing skills, (minor restroom repair of toilets, sinks, and fixtures) - Familiarity with Lift Stations. - Building skills, (doors & hardware, furniture & hardware, bulletin boards, etc.) - Painting skills, (for touch-ups and misc.) - Computer skills, (email, scheduling, maintenance management, work order & PM’s)

Schedule

Full time; Day shift, Monday through Friday. Must be able to work nights and weekends as required.
