Facility Maintenance Technician

Handles routine facilities issues and basic equipment troubleshooting ranging from electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing tasks.

• Follows work orders and or other general instructions
• Counsults inspections
• Logs completed work
• Offers limited janitorial support (e.g., trash removal, floor cleaning) when workload permits or support is required

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED (trade certification or 2-4 years of hands-on maintenance experience preferred)
• Can work independently and efficiently
• Demonstrate basic critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient with hand/power tools and basic electrical/mechanical systems

Physical Requirements

• Lifting up to 50 lb
• Climbing ladders
• Working in confined spaces with prolonged standing, walking, bending, and kneeling

Basic Required Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a security clearance is required. Interim clearance is required to start position
• No degree required, high school diploma okay
• 2+ years maintenance experience
• 2+ years facilities experience
• 2+ years experience with general maintenance experience
• Strong performance during the initial assignment period (approximately eight months) may open the door to extended or full-time engagement with the company

PPE

• Steel toe shoes are required
• All other PPE will be provided
