Facility Maintenance Technician

Handles routine facilities issues and basic equipment troubleshooting ranging from electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing tasks.
- Follows work orders and or other general instructions
- Counsults inspections
- Logs completed work
- Offers limited janitorial support (e.g., trash removal, floor cleaning) when workload permits or support is required
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED (trade certification or 2-4 years of hands-on maintenance experience preferred)
- Can work independently and efficiently
- Demonstrate basic critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient with hand/power tools and basic electrical/mechanical systems
Physical Requirements
- Lifting up to 50 lb
- Climbing ladders
- Working in confined spaces with prolonged standing, walking, bending, and kneeling
Basic Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain a security clearance is required. Interim clearance is required to start position
- No degree required, high school diploma okay
- 2+ years maintenance experience
- 2+ years facilities experience
- 2+ years experience with general maintenance experience
- Strong performance during the initial assignment period (approximately eight months) may open the door to extended or full-time engagement with the company
PPE
- Steel toe shoes are required
- All other PPE will be provided
