Facility Maintenance Technician
Job Duties
- Performs complex tasks associated with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry in support of property management activities.
- Plans and coordinates work activities related to property management.
- Assists Site Foreman in property management activities and provides direction to other craft personnel.
- Completes plant maintenance documents, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up activities.
- Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures.
- Familiarity with JSA’s PTW is an asset.
Qualifications
- Skills are typically acquired through 5-8 years experience in trade.
- Journeyman or equivalent license required in specific field work is being performed.
Skills
- Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.
- Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Senior Facility Maintenance Specialist, or Lead Facility Maintenance Specialist.
