Job Summary
Facilities Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing routine and emergency repairs, conducting inspections, and managing maintenance-related tasks, which includes the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair various equipment. The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of general commercial maintenance and upkeep, including the ability to assist with troubleshooting and repairing various equipment and fixtures.Compensation
$20.000 - $26.00 per hour (Based on Experienced), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401kShifts
Shifts: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Days Off: Subject to either Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/ThursdayResponsibilities
- Perform routine repairs on HVAC systems and other mechanical equipment throughout the facility
- Assist with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC duties and assigned
- Drywall repair, framing, painting, carpentry, and other general repair duties
- Conduct inspections and assessments of facility systems to identify potential issues and perform corrective actions.
- Absorb snow removal when necessary, during winter months
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with other team members to provide insights into equipment performance and customer service needs to achieve departmental goals
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations
- Participation in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge base
Requirements
- Must have at least 1-year of commercial facility maintenance experience
- Possess a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subject to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
- Working knowledge of general maintenance functions including light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, framing, drywall repair, and painting
- OSHA 10, hoisting licenses, EPA Universal Certification, or other trade licenses preferred, but not required
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Familiar with CMMS software for effectively managing maintenance tasks, strongly preferred
