Facility Maintenance Technician

We are seeking Facility Maintenece Technicians to join our team in Richmond, CA. Candidates should possess a well-rounded knowledge of facility operations to include experience in any of the following areas: building maintenance (electrical, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, welding) material handling equipment, and industrial refrigeration. $22 - $26 depending on experience Join our talented engineering team that supports all maintenance aspects of our Cold Storage Facility. Our facility maintenance technicians: Promote a safe work environment and follow all safety rules and proceduresAssist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems under supervisionPerform basic carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, windows, and doorsAssist with painting and general facility upkeepOperate a wide variety of hand and power tools such as wrenches, sockets, gear pullers screwdrivers, jacks, drill press, screw gun, electric drill, etcPerform routine and preventative maintenance on the building systemsMaintain a clean and organized work environmentReport any safety hazards or concerns to management promptly WORK ENVIORNMENT Able to climb up and down ladders, scaffolding, and stairwellsAble to lift/move heavy objects using carts and hand trucksAble to sit, stand, bend and walk for extended periods Work varied hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays) depending on operational needsAble to work in various environments, including temperature-controlled facilities and outdoor settings Requirements Job Requirements Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, as well as being able to multi-taskAble to properly operate a wide variety of power tools, motorized pallet-jacks and warehouse equipmentStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and proceduresBasic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferredSuccessful applicants must pass a post offer, pre employment drug screening Benefits Benefits package includes vacation, sick leave, holidays, medical, dental, vision, life/disability and 401k (optional).
