Facility Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Performs Daily/Monthly/Quarterly Preventive Maintenance and safety checks
• Performs maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment within guidelines of processes and standards
• Maintains, replaces, builds, adjusts, and modifies the facilities, buildings, and the grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situations
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keep maintenance area orderly and clean as required
• Sets up and operates equipment and machinery
• Secures all equipment and completes all necessary reports and paperwork at the end of the shift

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years’ experience in the facilities maintenance field
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter
• Adhere to OSHA safety regulations approved standards, policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Interface with peers, staff, vendors, contractors to appropriately resolve issues
• Be able to be on-call

Skills

• Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and processes used in facility maintenance
• Operate a radio and mobile phone
• Lift or move 50 pounds
• Basic computer skills

Pay

$25.00/hour (Depending on Experience)

Schedule

Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.
