Facility Maintenance Technician 1st Shift
Position Responsibilities
Own: Own the equipment in your area and take individual responsibility for its maintenance.
Build knowledge and collaborate with fellow technicians to improve efficiency and quality.
Strategize: Plan and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules, repairs, and updates to ensure peak operational efficiency.
Customer focus: Work cross-functionally with various teams to diagnose and resolve issues promptly.
Growth: Continuously develop new skills through internal training and promotion opportunities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Technical aptitude
- Understanding of drywall, tile floor, sink/drain repairs
Education and Experience
- Associate's degree in a technical field such as Electro-Mechanical preferred
- Relevant experience in Pharmaceutical or Food manufacturing
Physical Position Requirements
- Safely work in an industrial environment using approved procedures, including Lockout/tagout, confined space, line break, right to know, PPE, etc.
- Experience in the use of hand and power tools
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Work in varied conditions including hot, cold, stinky, noisy, ultra-clean environments, or requiring additional PPE
- May be exposed to temperature variations, prolonged standing, or walking
- Valid drivers' license may be required
