Facilities Maintenance Technician, 1st Shift

Essential Functions

• Ensure all building facilities adhere to proper Building code, safety standards and cleaning procedures
• Maintain equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety standards
• Communicate with facilities staff to support contractors and vendors
• Keep building and all facilities up to code and accurately follow maintenance protocol
• Run routine maintenance inspections
• Monitor interior and exterior areas of building for cleanliness and general conservation
• Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures
• Maintenance and installment work as needed

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Actively seeking a Facilities or Maintenance trade certification that applies to this position
• Knowledge of mechanical and plumbing skills
• Knowledge of HVAC and other building systems
• Knowledge of Electric power
• Able to lift heavy objects and do other labor-intensive tasks
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Great problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

Working Conditions

• Office setting
• Some walking and standing within and between buildings
• Maintain the Factory building and outside of auxiliary building or equipment but not limited
