Facilities Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Job Duties

• Maintains the facilities by maintaining an orderly clean environment.
• Supplies support by building crates and other wooden needs for shipping of product.
• Daily Production Activities:
  • Be able to maintain an orderly and clean environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Conduct general housekeeping and cleaning duties such as sweeping floors, cleaning restrooms, taking out garbage, leading recycling efforts, snow removal, and general dusting.
• Ability to follow work instructions.

Minimum Requirements

• A High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Value Added Skills:
  • Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience.
  • Computer knowledge.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Ability to train on any shift.
  • Positive Attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Working in areas where it can get warm.
• Working in a smoke free environment.
• Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow.

Shift

• This is a 1st shift position.
• Hours are 6am – 2pm Monday - Friday.
• Overtime during busy season.
