Facility Maintenance Service Technician – Distribution Center

About the role

The Sr level Facilities/Maintenance/Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of complex facility systems within a temperature-controlled automated Distribution Center. This includes troubleshooting and performing repairs on a wide range of equipment used in the distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency repairs on various facility systems and equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Communicate effectively with a diverse range of personnel, including upper management and front-line employees
• Continuously learn and adapt to new conveyance systems and technologies

Requirements

• Experience in facility, maintenance, or service technician roles
• Troubleshooting and repair experience with a variety of distribution center equipment
• Knowledge of basic warehouse work environments and various trades
• Basic understanding of lock out/tag out procedures and OSHA guidelines

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Standing, sitting, walking, general labor, ladder, scissor lift, and fork truck use
• May work at heights occasionally

Skills

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication abilities
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Knowledge of various types of equipment used in maintenance and facility trades

Pay

The hourly pay range for this position is $30-35/hr (depending upon experience).

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm OR Monday to Friday, 1pm-9:30pm. OT is mandatory if required. Shifts may change based on business needs.
