About the role
The Facility Maintenance/Plumbing Systems Technician will support our client's operations in Waukesha, WI, providing expert maintenance and repair services to ensure optimal facility operation and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Responding to and troubleshooting work orders for plumbing and mechanical systems
- Performing preventative and predictive maintenance on various systems and equipment
- Inspecting and repairing building equipment, including backflow preventers, eyewash/safety showers, and water filtration systems
- Installing and repairing bathroom plumbing fixtures and performing pipefitting repairs
- Assisting with emergency snow removal and ice elimination
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment
Requirements
- Three years of experience in repair and maintenance or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher
- Prepared to work overtime when required
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
- Valid driver’s license may be required
Skills
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for mechanical equipment
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical documents
- Ability to use a variety of office equipment and computers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
$25 - $33 per hour
Schedule
Monday - Friday; 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. Workdays and hours may vary based on critical business demand. Must be willing to work overtime when required.
