Facility Maintenance Part Time Night Manager (Bilingual Preferred)

About the role

This is a part time position at $20 to $25 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts in Pensacola, FL and coordinate service providers
• Work with the Account Manager on resolving customer issues
• Exercise good judgment in reporting client concerns to management
• Work independently and with others in various types of facilities
• Work part time 6:00 pm to 2:00 am with potential weekends
• Must be able to work these hours exclusively and have a flexible schedule

Required Qualifications

• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Bilingual (Spanish)
• Reside in Pensacola, FL
• Prompt, regular attendance
• Own transportation
• Facility management/Janitorial background
• High school diploma or equivalent experience in commercial janitorial services industry
• Solid understanding of basic business math
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Prior experience in management; coaching, motivating, developing, and leading a team in multi-unit or locations
• Excellent communication skills
• Energetic, hard-working, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Strong Microsoft Office, internet, and email communication
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Write routine reports and correspondence
• Must have an iPhone or iPad
• Strong planning, organization skills, and attention to detail
• Must be innovative and strive for continuous process improvement

Essential Functions

• Develop and maintain productive, working relationships with Independent Contractors (IC) and In-House labor
• Communicate client priorities and collaborate on solving problems
• Review scope of work and ensure quality assurance per account
• Communicate with Facility Solutions Manager daily for any issues that need immediate attention
• Manage inspections, customer complaints, customer requests, new client starts, or VIP treatment needing attention
• Execute City Wide's New-Start Policy, Customer Compliant Policy, Four Star Policy, and other operational policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with client policies & procedures, approved cleaning tools and equipment and their proper use
• Other duties as necessary

Physical Demands

Constant sitting, bending, standing, and walking. Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Environment

The physical demands are representative of the requirements that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and extreme heat. Safety requirements for this position include safety glasses, hearing protection and steel-toed work boots.
