Bilingual - Night Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Bilingual Operations Manager who thrives in a fast-moving distribution environment and knows how to turn priorities into disciplined execution. Working closely with the Director, General Manager and/or Assistant General Manager, this leader drives performance across the floor, develops front-line talent, and helps the operation respond effectively to changing priorities, peak demand, and daily business needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, and 3 - 5 years of relevant distribution or manufacturing management/leadership experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Data-driven mindset with expertise cost control and operational efficiency
• Ability to lead and coach an hourly employee team
• Manage relationships with third party delivery providers to maintain contractual standards
• Able to communicate effectively with excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills
• Must be highly organized and process oriented with the ability to complete tasks on time
• Ability to adapt and change processes to keep pace with the evolving business requirements
• Strong technical skills required, but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI reporting

Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt or demonstrated Lean Manufacturing experience (preferred)
• Knowledge and execution of Final-mile delivery models, including white-glove service and same-day or multi-day delivery routing (preferred)
• Exposure to furniture manufacturing, distribution and/or big box distribution (preferred)
• Final Mile Transportation carrier contract negotiations or procurement experience (preferred)
• Expert understanding of Safety and OSHA standards (preferred)
