Facility Maintenance Assistant

We are hiring a Maintenance Assistant to join our team. You will support the Maintenance Department by ensuring the facility environment is clean, safe, and comfortable, following company policies and procedures. Responsibilities

• Support the Maintenance Department by maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable facility environment.
• Assist with the operation, repair, and maintenance of boilers, compressors, generators, HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing systems, and other equipment in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience operating boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, and related technical documents.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and maintenance best practices.
• Relevant licenses in accordance with applicable standards, codes, and labor laws.
• Ability to plan and execute repair programs, new construction projects, and equipment installations.
• Ability to control and track direct spending and labor budgets.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working in a healthcare facility.

Pay

Salary range: $18–$20 per hour.

Schedule

Shift: 10 PM – 6 AM.
