Facility Intern

About the Role

This is a PRN position, working 20 hours per week; Monday-Friday, 8a-4p at our Burleson, Texas location (11801 South Fwy, 76028).

Responsibilities

• Supervise clinical students in various clinical environments to ensure satisfactory performance and educational effectiveness.
• Develop, design, and deliver instruction in assigned courses.
• Participate in student advising and mentoring, providing guidance and support.
• Formulate and administer student competencies as needed.
• Engage in teaching, service, scholarship, and research activities.
• Grade examinations and assignments, and review evaluations with students.
• Review and assist with revisions of department policies and procedures.
• Identify and recommend appropriate community agency linkages for student learning experiences.
• Make appropriate clinical assignments and conduct student orientation to the clinical site.
• Document areas of concern and prescribe appropriate processes for remediation.
• Evaluate learning resources such as reference material, audio/visual aids, and computer-assisted learning programs.
• Continue professional development as a faculty member through advanced studies, research, and writing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in college. [Required]
• High School Graduate or Equivalent. [Required]
• Current college student. [Preferred]

Pay

Pay range: $16.34 - $26.15 per hour.
