Facility HVAC Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a full-time Site-Based Facility HVAC Maintenance Technician in the Northern Kentucky / Highland Heights / Wilder area to serve a large education facility client. This role requires knowledge of corrective, preventative, and routine repair and maintenance procedures of commercial HVAC systems. Experience with building pumps, water softeners, and other facility mechanical assets is a plus. The role also involves light plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and construction tasks. Access to a company vehicle is provided while on the work site.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform minor HVAC system repairs.
• Perform general building maintenance tasks, including timely repairs and scheduled maintenance on building equipment, fire system tests and inspections, general break/fix, light carpentry, light plumbing, floor care, and on-call assistance for clean-ups and emergencies.
• Diagnose general maintenance issues quickly and effectively.
• Perform general plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Work both independently and within a team.
• Be available nights and weekends for emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and complete records of maintenance, repair, and testing activities.
• Maintain truck stock and inventory within company guidelines.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, including participation in client meetings.
• Use computer/tablet/mobile devices to modify and monitor work order management system.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Commercial Facilities Maintenance Services.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, with experience diagnosing HVAC issues.
• Keen eye for detail.
• Highly organized with the ability to self-manage and perform essential duties beyond satisfaction.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Effective communication skills with a great attitude.
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening.

Pay

$26–$32 hourly wage.
