Facility Driver

About the role

This is a 2nd Shift position (Monday-Thursday): 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM
Based at our Niagara Falls, NY facility, we seek a dedicated individual who is able to drive tractor/tip trailers to and from the rail yard/tipping floor, operate heavy equipment (i.e. Reach stacker, Track mobile, Frontend loader, and forklift.)

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor/trailer units transporting and emptying intermodal containers.
• Operate heavy equipment such as Reach stacker, Track mobile, Frontend loader, and forklift.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and maintain equipment in a clean and safe condition.
• Perform other job tasks as assigned under the direction of the RTIF Superintendent or Lead Operator.

Requirements

• Significant experience in driving on and/or off-road tractor trailer units, emptying containers.
• Full face respirator certification and ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, outages, and alternating shifts.
• Basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• CDL License is not required, but preferred.
• Ability to wear full face respirator and lift 50 lbs.
• Must be responsible, well organized, and exhibit great safety & environmental awareness.

Skills

• Experience driving and backing tractor trailer trucks.
• Basic computer skills.
