Facility Driver

About the role

The role involves driving a fleet of vehicles to transport patients and staff within a healthcare facility. The primary focus is on ensuring safety and efficiency in transportation.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned vehicles safely and efficiently
• Ensure all patients and staff are transported safely and on time
• Follow all facility policies and procedures related to vehicle operation and patient care
• Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles
• Communicate effectively with other staff members and patients

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience
• Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Passing a background check

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Excellent driving skills
• Knowledge of healthcare facilities and protocols
• Ability to handle stressful situations

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
