Facility Coordinator – Part-time Position

About the role

The Operations Associate reports to the Membership Director and plays a crucial role in maintaining a welcoming, safe, and functional environment at The Center. This position involves both administrative tasks related to membership and hands-on responsibilities for facility management.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Serve as designated person in charge during evening and weekend shifts
  • Set up rooms and ensure A/V equipment is operational in advance of programs and rentals
  • Assist Welcome Desk volunteers with program and member registration, financial transactions, and inquiries
  • Monitor and manage building use and activities to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment

Skills Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of relevant professional experience, preferably in customer service
  • Experience using and troubleshooting general office equipment and technology, including Microsoft 365, database software, and Zoom

Job Schedule

This is an on-site, part-time role at 20 hours per week. Core work hours include Tuesday–Thursday from 2:00–8:30 pm and one Saturday per month from 8:00 am–2:30 pm. Hourly rate of $20–$22 is based on experience to start.
