About the role
The role involves providing expert advice on health, safety, and environmental matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate risks
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
- Train employees on health and safety best practices
- Oversee emergency response plans and drills
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international health and safety standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety, Environment, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- Professional certifications in HSE are preferred but not required
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment is beneficial

- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
