About the role

The role involves providing expert advice on health, safety, and environmental matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate risks
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
  • Train employees on health and safety best practices
  • Oversee emergency response plans and drills
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international health and safety standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety, Environment, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Professional certifications in HSE are preferred but not required
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment is beneficial

Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
