Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural), Architecture, Construction Management, Facilities/Building Science, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years progressive experience in facility condition assessments, capital planning, construction, or building systems evaluation.
- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, envelope, structural), lifecycle costing, and facility assessment methodologies.
- Proven experience with facility assessment software, capital planning tools, or asset management platforms.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication abilities, with a proven capacity to influence senior leaders and guide field teams.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Ability to travel 25% (+ or -) to project sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional licensure such as PE, RA, or certifications like CFM (IFMA), FMP, or RMP.
- Experience overseeing large, multi-site portfolios across government, healthcare, higher education, or corporate environments.
- Background with sustainability, resiliency planning, or energy efficiency assessments.
- Demonstrated experience preparing long-range capital plans, budgets, and executive-level reporting.
- Association with Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), International Facility Management Association (IFMA) or American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) trade organizations.
