Facility and Grounds Maintenance Technician- Part-Time

About the role

We are searching for a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to work in our residential program located in Riverton, UT. This position is responsible for overseeing all renovations, repairs, preventive maintenance, and construction projects for Collage’s houses, apartments, and office spaces as assigned. This role holds responsibility for the overall condition and maintenance of the company’s buildings and grounds, as well as overseeing the procurement process and upkeep of necessary equipment and supplies. The position directly performs routine maintenance, repair work, and other related tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work experience and advanced training in at least two of the following trades: plumbing, electric, carpentry, and painting
• Occasionally required to sit; frequently required to bend, stoop, kneel, stand, and walk
• Ability to handle and organize multiple priorities and deadlines
• Ability to travel and/or operate a vehicle for up to 20% of the time spent working in this position

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Two to three years’ work experience in facilities maintenance
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain responsible driving behaviors
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
