About the role

As a Healthcare Operations Manager (Facility Administrator) at DaVita, you’ll be part of a team that values work-life balance and prioritizes your personal and professional growth. You will directly impact patient care as the trusted front-line leader in an outpatient clinic setting. Health care experience is not required.

You will be available when the clinic is open and lead a cross-functional clinical team (census dependent on state laws). This role offers autonomy with support and guidance from your director, regional peers, and the greater company. We foster entrepreneurs and those who seek continuous improvement.

Partner with the Regional Operations Director to identify and address employee and patient concerns to drive toward regional goals and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with patients while improving their health through clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional clinical team to deliver the best for patients, teammates, and the community.
  • Manage the complete operation and performance of the clinic, including budget adherence, expense forecasting, vendor relationships, supply ordering, and compliance monitoring.
  • Lead a team in a positive environment where teammates appreciate, support, and rely on each other.
  • Collaborate with clinical and financial teams daily to produce results aligned with business needs.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree preferred, unless required by state or local laws; Bachelor’s degree in a related area strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in management (healthcare, business, or military) or equivalent renal experience (nurse, dietitian, social worker, LPN, etc.) at the discretion of the Divisional Vice President and/or Regional Operations Director.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse if required by the state of employment.
  • Current CPR certification required (or certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire or change in position).
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Other qualifications and combinations of skills may be considered at the discretion of the Regional Operations Director and/or Divisional Vice President.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $91,000 - $144,000 per year. Compensation depends on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. For location-specific minimum wage details, see DaVita.jobs/WageRates.
