Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily management and operation of the clinic in Amarillo, TX. Plan patient and staff scheduling to ensure effective staffing levels, verify all staff meet required qualifications, and implement processes to improve patient health and minimize missed treatments or hospitalizations.
• Ensure clinic compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, maintain required certifications, implement Corrective Action Plans as needed, and manage all clinic records and submissions.
• Meet all clinic financial targets, including budget, labor costs, supply costs, and expenditures.
• Safety & Quality: Lead and promote the quality management program, including education, staff involvement, QAPI meetings, and quality improvement committees to achieve corporate quality targets and patient outcomes.
• Respond to patient inquiries or complaints to ensure the highest level of customer care.
• Review and act on incident reports, report findings at monthly QAPI meetings, and ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
• Maintain equipment, manage supply inventory, and assist with maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Leadership: Promote teamwork, communicate effectively, and enable high-performing teams. Collaborate closely with the Medical Director, physicians, and maintain positive relationships with area hospitals, agencies, vendors, and the community.
• Assume (or designate a qualified Registered Nurse to assume) the responsibilities of Charge Nurse and Registered Supervising Nurse as needed.
• Fulfill responsibilities of facility CEO as delegated by the Governing Body.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to function in a leadership position and perform in new and emergent situations with sound judgment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

• One or more years of previous dialysis management experience.
• If the following nursing requirements are not met, a designated Registered Supervising Nurse must be present at the clinic:
  • Current RN license (in good standing) in the applicable state.
  • 18 months of experience as an RN, with 6 months in nursing care of patients with kidney failure.
  • CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
  • Must meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable state.

Other Requirements

• Proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire.
• Must meet applicable, specific state requirements.
