Facilities Workcrew Job Coach

About the role

The position of the Job Coach is responsible for supervising participants with developmental disabilities in a community-integrated employment, or enclave, setting. This includes the cleaning of office buildings, maintenance, and basic landscaping work at 24/7 residential programs and ServiceNet office properties.

Responsibilities

• Supervise participants with developmental disabilities in a community-integrated employment, or enclave, setting.
• Perform duties such as cleaning office buildings, maintenance, and basic landscaping work at 24/7 residential programs and ServiceNet office properties.
• Support the Mobile Work Crew to ensure each member is learning the skills necessary to complete the job correctly.
• May be required to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.

Qualifications

• Familiar with power equipment such as various types of the lawnmower, chainsaws, and Snowblowers, etc.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of experience working with the DBIS adult population as well as other disabilities.
• Have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Complete background check (CORI/ Fingerprint).
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
