Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility MEP systems, including electrical distribution, HVAC, plumbing, boilers, compressors, pumps, and utility systems, within a laboratory facility environment.
- Perform routine inspections and identify maintenance or repair needs.
- Document all work activities in the CMMS.
- Respond to equipment alarms, breakdowns, and facility emergencies to restore safe operation.
- Respond to emergencies, participating in the rotating on-call program.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a maintenance technician or skilled trade within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Basic knowledge in at least two of the following areas: electrical, plumbing/pipefitting, wastewater operations, HVAC-R, boilers/steam systems, RODI/WFI systems, autoclaves, Building Management Systems, pumps.
Preferred Qualifications
- BMS experience, preferably Metasys.
- Laboratory facility experience.
- CMMS experience, preferably Infor EAM.
