Are you a hands-on problem solver with experience maintaining equipment and facility systems? As our Facilities Technician III, you’ll troubleshoot and repair powered industrial equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems while helping keep operations safe and efficient. This Taunton, MA position is Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with occasional work outside regular hours. Pay Range: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour We share our pay range because transparency matters. This reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role based on experience and performance. Position Summary Works independently to repair, maintain, and install electrical, HVAC, mechanical, refrigeration, and entertainment venues (if applicable) and equipment in accordance with applicable building codes and safety regulations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities We Trust you to Perform Diagnose and perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and maintenance repairs on powered industrial equipment including lift trucks, reach trucks, pallet jacks, fork trucks, boom lifts, scissor lifts, balers, and associated operational support equipment.Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.Operate equipment such as forklifts, maintenance vehicles, pallet jacks and other warehouse support equipment as needed. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and system diagrams to perform maintenance and repair work.Maintains and repairs a variety of operational support equipment (furniture lifts, fork trucks, pallet jacks, balers, etc.) in addition, assist/support in all maintenance related fields (plumbing, energy management systems, HVAC systems, carpentry, and electrical infrastructure).Troubleshoots and performs routine inspections, independent repairs and maintenance of facility systems (e.g. water, power distribution, exhaust, fire alarms, emergency procedures, gas and electrical distribution, etc.) and equipment Assists with facilities projects as necessary (e.g. location of facility systems, zones, water & power distribution, etc.) Locates and identifies building and systems malfunctions; troubleshoots and works from blueprints, drawings, and layouts of other specifications Tests systems and equipment for safety and efficiency Performs building construction/renovations as needed Creates reports and updates computerized ticketing system with status of work completed Operates and repairs equipment such as forklifts, maintenance vehicles, and tow motors Uses and maintains tools and equipment in accordance to manufactures Education High School Skills & Experience What You Bring to the Table Requires 6-8 years of mechanical experience within the automotive, commercial, industrial, warehouse and or facilities maintenance environments. (and or the equivalent of a combination of experience, education and training).Strong understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical theory, including both AC/DC power circuits and systems, motor controls, and electronic control systems Experience diagnosing and repairing powered industrial equipment, including forklift equipment and material handling systems.Ability to independently identify, troubleshoot and rectify problems Requires advanced knowledge of the operation of all company equipment and pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, carpentry, entertainment venues and electrical systems Ability to operate and update computerized ticketing system Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license to be able to drive to other locations to perform work duties May be required to successfully fulfill D.O.T. certification Happy, healthy employees are our goal, and our benefits help J-Team members balance physical, financial, professional, social and emotional well-being.
