Facilities Technician III / Assembly Line Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Cook up daily assembly activities, ensuring work is completed on time, to specification, and in compliance with quality standards
• Coordinate workflow and prioritize assembly tasks based on production schedules
• Read, interpret, and communicate engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures to the team
• Maintain production progress and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or issues
• Follow and promote safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
• Provide hands-on support and technical guidance to assembly personnel as needed
• Communicate production status, quality concerns, and escalations to management in a timely manner
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve technical or material issues
• Track and report on key production metrics including output, quality, and on-time delivery

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supervising manufacturing operations in pilot operation environment
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in electromechanical assembly, manufacturing, or production environments
• Demonstrated leadership on the production floor and fluency in manufacturing language and processes
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures
• Strong communication skills — ability to clearly communicate priorities, deliver feedback, and escalate issues
• Comfort working in a dynamic environment where priorities shift frequently
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in manufacturing technology, engineering technology, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in prototype, low-rate, or pre-production manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles: 5S, visual management, standard work, kaizen
• Track record of contributing to quality and safety improvements on a production floor
• Experience in robotics, aerospace, automotive, or defense manufacturing
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under time pressure
