Facilities Technician III / Assembly Line Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
- Cook up daily assembly activities, ensuring work is completed on time, to specification, and in compliance with quality standards
- Coordinate workflow and prioritize assembly tasks based on production schedules
- Read, interpret, and communicate engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures to the team
- Maintain production progress and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or issues
- Follow and promote safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
- Provide hands-on support and technical guidance to assembly personnel as needed
- Communicate production status, quality concerns, and escalations to management in a timely manner
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve technical or material issues
- Track and report on key production metrics including output, quality, and on-time delivery
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience supervising manufacturing operations in pilot operation environment
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in electromechanical assembly, manufacturing, or production environments
- Demonstrated leadership on the production floor and fluency in manufacturing language and processes
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures
- Strong communication skills — ability to clearly communicate priorities, deliver feedback, and escalate issues
- Comfort working in a dynamic environment where priorities shift frequently
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in manufacturing technology, engineering technology, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in prototype, low-rate, or pre-production manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles: 5S, visual management, standard work, kaizen
- Track record of contributing to quality and safety improvements on a production floor
- Experience in robotics, aerospace, automotive, or defense manufacturing
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under time pressure
