Facilities Technician (General Labor) 1st shift

Key Responsibilities

  • Lawn Cutting/Weed Whacking/Leaf Removal
  • Snow Removal: Clearing snow and ice from walkways, driveways, and other areas during winter months, along with salting such areas.
  • Seasonal Planting/Garden Upkeep/Weed Control
  • Trash Removal & Emptying Hoppers
  • Equipment Maintenance: Aid Facilities Manager in record/log keeping of Preventive maintenance on all facility equipment
  • Ride on Floor Sweeper
  • Aid the Facilities Manager in monitoring sub contractors and vendors

Requirements

  • Valid NYS Drivers License
  • Ability to operate a zero turn lawn mower, weed whacker, and other outdoor power tools
  • Forklift Certified
  • Ability to operate a floor sweeper
  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety rules and requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in plumbing and/or electrical field
