Facilities Technician (Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Club buildings, facilities, and equipment.
• Complete work orders efficiently and in accordance with Club standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical issues.
• Perform interior and exterior painting, patching, and touch-up work as needed.
• Auxiliary with facility improvement projects, renovations, and seasonal maintenance tasks.
• Maintain HVAC, lighting, doors, locks, fixtures, and other building systems.
• Inspect facilities regularly and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Auxiliary with setup and breakdown of events, furniture, equipment, and seasonal amenities.
• Operate, maintain, and properly store tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
• Cook with outside vendors and contractors when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all Club safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Auxiliary with operational and maintenance needs as assigned.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of facilities maintenance, building maintenance, property maintenance, or related experience.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repair techniques.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing facility equipment and systems.
• Experience in a club, hospitality, residential, commercial, or recreational environment is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Positive and professional demeanor with members, guests, and staff.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. (with assistance or equipment as needed).
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours during the season.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and occasionally noisy environment.
