Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Club buildings, facilities, and equipment.
- Complete work orders efficiently and in accordance with Club standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical issues.
- Perform interior and exterior painting, patching, and touch-up work as needed.
- Auxiliary with facility improvement projects, renovations, and seasonal maintenance tasks.
- Maintain HVAC, lighting, doors, locks, fixtures, and other building systems.
- Inspect facilities regularly and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
- Auxiliary with setup and breakdown of events, furniture, equipment, and seasonal amenities.
- Operate, maintain, and properly store tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
- Cook with outside vendors and contractors when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all Club safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Auxiliary with operational and maintenance needs as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2–4 years of facilities maintenance, building maintenance, property maintenance, or related experience.
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repair techniques.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing facility equipment and systems.
- Experience in a club, hospitality, residential, commercial, or recreational environment is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Positive and professional demeanor with members, guests, and staff.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. (with assistance or equipment as needed).
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours during the season.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and occasionally noisy environment.
