Facilities Technician - Full Time - 730a-4p Shift - Heartland Care Center

Essential Functions

• Assists with the general repair, maintenance, and upkeep of the Eventide facilities, equipment, vehicles, and its grounds under the direction of the Director of Facilities.
• Maintains Direct Digital Control systems to ensure efficient operations of Eventide Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and equipment.
• Safely utilizes and operates specialized tools and equipment pertaining to, but not limited to, boilers, electrical, and plumbing.
• Operates vehicles such as lawn care/snow removal equipment, and other vehicles included in the Eventide facilities fleet.
• Utilizes the CMMS software work order system to check job assignments during each shift, making comments and labor adjustments in the system as needed.
• Manages and relates CMMS assignments to specific Eventide job sites using Eventide time clock software.
• Reports all complete and problem jobs to the Facilities Director.
• Performs scheduled preventative maintenance on Eventide assets as assigned and documents changes accordingly.
• Performs grounds keeping duties to maintain a desirable appearance on the campus, including lawn maintenance, trimming/pruning bushes, edging sidewalks, removal of weeds, and removal of snow and ice from sidewalks and parking lots.
• Completes the make-ready process of vacant apartments and skilled care rooms for new residents as assigned.
• Maintains and tracks inventory controls to achieve cost-effective operations.
• Aids in the monitoring of all projects being performed by external contractors and reports information as needed to the Facilities Director.
• Coordinates and completes special projects as assigned by the Facilities Director.
• Alerts the Facilities Director of any unusual occurrences or damage which may occur or already has occurred to Eventide property.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and ability to maintain insurability under corporate insurance policy is required.

Qualifications

• Facilities and/or Maintenance experience preferred, but not required.

Skills

• Ability to operate specialized tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of Direct Digital Control systems.
• Experience with CMMS software.
• Groundskeeping skills.
• Preventative maintenance knowledge.
• Project coordination skills.

Pay

At Eventide, we value our employees and offer a competitive starting pay range of $20-22.40 for Facilities Technicians per hour based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available, for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4pm. Rotates on-call every 3rd week and holiday rotation as needed.
