Job Description
Vitalant is seeking a Facility Technician dedicated to making a positive difference. Your impact as a Facility Technician is vital. You will contribute to Vitalant's life-saving mission by maintaining, repairing, and installing building structures and equipment. You'll be familiar with departmental processes, work order management, card access, safety monitoring, MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and building automation.
What to Expect
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
- Pay Range: 22.89 - 29.63 per hour DOE
- Application Deadline: July 31, 2026
- Work Shift (if Applicable): Shift 1 (United States of America)
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Licensed Tradesman is preferred.
- Experience: Three years of experience required.

- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Able to make sound decisions on repairs.
- Able to work independently.
- Must be self-motivated.

Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and maintenance at designated locations to ensure safe operations.
- Aid the facilities team in ensuring staff compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice regulations, OSHA requirements, and departmental policies.
- Support maintenance staff with procedures, including carpentry, plumbing, drywall, ceiling, flooring, concrete work, and painting, as necessary.
- Absorb and transport various equipment and supplies as required.
- Cook up and coordinate tasks with external contractors and vendors.
- Maintain accurate documentation of completed services and outsourced contractors.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Three years of experience required.
