Facilities Technician
The Role
We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Facilities Technician who brings decisiveness, strong decision-making, and expertise to the table. In this role, you’ll be integrated into the Production Engineering team, while being primarily responsible for preparing and maintaining the building and related infrastructure.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee operation of utilities and drive improvements through incremental kaizen activity
- Work with internal customers to deliver projects according to scheduled timing and budget
- Oversee and make improvements to building management systems for control of plant lighting, HVAC control, and compressed air
- HVAC refrigerant troubleshooting
- Capital project management of projects of 250 thousand
- Foundational of Cap Ex project management
- Oversee docks, overheads doors, pedestrian doors, and plant aisles installs and repairs
- Foundational ability for management of outside contractor work
- Foundational HVAC equipment and programming of HVAC controls
- Foundational Plant utilities such as electrical, gas, water, and compressed air
- Additional duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- A high school diploma or associate or bachelor's degree (mechanical/industrial/electrical/construction management)
- 1-5 years of hands-on experience preferred
- Strong technical experience with troubleshooting capability and willingness to work hands-on
- Strong work ethic, intrinsically motivated, ability to organize work and multi-task
- Computer skills, including the ability to prepare thorough, concise reports and justifications
- Ability to work professionally with all levels of the organization

Total Compensation & Benefits Package
- Salary - $24/hr - $37/hr (plus OT if applicable)
