Facilities Technician

Responsibilities

• Respond, diagnose and repair a variety of equipment and systems within the physical plant, including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, pools, and life safety systems
• Perform tasks such as preventative maintenance, painting, drywall repair, and mechanical maintenance
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track maintenance tasks, streamline workflows, and ensure proper documentation and reporting

Regulatory Compliance & Safety

Familiarity with compliance with all relevant Federal, State, and Local regulations, including certifications (e.g., HVAC, pool operations, electrical) and safety procedures, including basic emergency protocols, is required.

Customer Service

Understand the importance of addressing guest issues related to engineering promptly and efficiently, while maintaining high service standards and responding effectively to service requests or emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years of engineering and maintenance experience, with technical training in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing systems
• Valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push, pull, and carry objects, and stand for extended periods.
