Facilities Technician
About the role
We are recruiting for a Facilities Technician opportunity supporting a well-maintained, safe, and secure work environment. Our team is seeking someone who can help keep building systems running smoothly while supporting general maintenance needs and vendor coordination.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the facility to help ensure it remains safe, secure, and well maintained.
- Troubleshoot power, HVAC system and controls, and mechanical systems.
- Support general and preventative maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing systems, and vendor management.
- Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts, and move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- 5-7 years of experience required.
- Prior maintenance technician experience is required.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical, food industry, or regulated environment is required.
- Mechanical aptitude is required, including basic knowledge of hydraulics and some electrical work.
- Must be able to support minor maintenance tasks and vendor escorting.
