About the role
The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the living environment for residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and order in common areas and resident rooms.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
- Ensure all equipment and facilities are functioning properly and report any issues to management.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of basic building maintenance and repair techniques.
