Facilities Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality assessments
• Schedule repairs
• Maintain inventory
• Perform equipment maintenance
• Develop preventative maintenance procedures
• Light maintenance and minor construction duties
• Ensure operations and processing equipment is in good working condition
• Update the Maintenance database after tasks have been performed
• Perform daily building walks to complete checklists
• Handle chemicals and Hazardous Waste
• Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping and light snow removal

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation
• Able to follow detailed instructions
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with facilities type equipment (e.g. compressors, vacuum systems, water filters)
• Able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly
• Familiar with the use of basic hand tools
• Able to accurately record data related to tasks performed
• Good communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and multi-tasking skills

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office
