Facilities Technician
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Electrical Technician to work across our office and production facilities to provide support for operations and a variety of daily projects and initiatives. In this role, you will manage daily work requests, support daily rounds, perform facilities equipment checks, and assist with operation and maintenance tasks across the organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical systems, HVAC, generators, and light construction, with a focus on electrical troubleshooting, repair, and light electrical construction activities.
This role requires an eye for quality, the ability to execute multiple tasks with minimal oversight, and strong leadership skills to drive actions across multiple stakeholders in a dynamic startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain facility infrastructure electrical systems, including medium and low voltage equipment and distribution.
- Operate cranes, forklifts, and small construction equipment.
- Troubleshoot and provide maintenance support for electrical systems and equipment as needed.
- Work on non-electrical equipment to support the larger team's goals.
- Manage basic projects and provide oversight of contractors and third-party work.
- Create and implement basic facilities Standard Work Instructions.
- Complete daily tasks list and facilities work requests.
- Respond to and troubleshoot general facilities issues.
- Work cross-functionally across operations teams on projects to support team growth and continuous improvement goals.
Requirements
- Journeyman Electrician license in Nevada or 8+ years as a qualified electrical worker in manufacturing, mining, or power generation.
- At least two years of experience supporting Facilities Maintenance, Operations, or Production organizations.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials (up to 100 lbs) and perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and carrying objects over 50 lbs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems at a high level.
- Self-motivated, hands-on mindset, with a willingness to contribute at all levels.
- Experience working with and maintaining tools and equipment necessary to perform work duties.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, lift, and carry objects over 50 lbs.
- Must be able to walk up and down stairs carrying weight.
- Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.
Working Conditions
- Environment may include office, outdoors, and exposure to inclement weather conditions.
- Exposures may include hazardous materials, loud noise, fires, or extreme heat/cold.
- Essential physical requirements may include climbing, standing, stooping, or typing.
- Required to work weekends, nights, or be on call as an occasional part of the job.
