Facilities Technician
About the role
The Facilities Technician is primarily responsible for daily operational assistance to maintain the overall facility cleanliness, including front office and client areas. Also, performs physical labor in performing drywall patching, painting, stocking and organizing materials. This is an onsite position requiring regular attendance. Flexibility to provide coverage at night or weekends is needed to assist with emergencies or client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all maintenance and repairs requests within the NTT office environment and related buildings are carried out in line with the service level agreement.
- Coordinate the distribution of and response to all service requests related to the facilities.
- Participate in daily building inspections and ensure all work conforms to the Health and Safety Act.
- Conduct daily walkabouts to check cleanliness of all areas, especially bathrooms, break rooms, and kitchens.
- Document and report on in-progress, new, and/or completed maintenance and repair requests to management.
- Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs schedule.
- Assist with ensuring tasks are completed according to schedule and update and maintain the maintenance database.
- Ensure buildings, offices, and equipment are maintained to required standards and service levels are met.
- Provide support to maintain office facilities, tools, equipment, and stock (office consumables) levels, ensuring secure storage.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including building services management, security, access control, and cleaning staff.
- Escalate non-performance of internal and external stakeholders to management.
- Approve contractor documentation and maintain records such as permits, leases, and correspondence on behalf of NTT.
Requirements
- Relevant secondary education.
- Some experience in a similar position and/or environment.
- This position requires onsite work at a data center facility and may require use of a personal mobile device. A monthly stipend will be provided to cover expenses if applicable.

Pay
Hourly base salary for this position is $24.23 - $34.62 and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with local, state, and federal Wage and Hour requirements.

Schedule
