Facilities Technician
What's the Job?
Oversee and monitor the operation of critical building systems including refrigeration, boilers, chillers, and related mechanical/electrical equipment.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and repair service work on site utility systems such as boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and motors.
Conduct routine tests and inspections on support equipment including water testing, chemical inventories, and brine levels.
Assist with major repairs and maintenance of building systems, ensuring optimal operation and safety compliance.
Document all work performed using Computerized Maintenance Management System and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience working with industrial-sized HVAC equipment and systems.
- Experience with steam boilers up to 37.5 million BTUs, water boilers up to 6 million BTUs, and chillers up to 1000 tons.
- EPA Universal certification is required.
- Ability to work independently on a rotating schedule, including weekends and on-call shifts.
- Basic computer skills and understanding of mechanical systems, including pump rebuilding.

Pay
$43.27 Hourly
Schedule
Monday through Friday with rotating weekend shifts.
