Long Wall · Long Beach, CA · 2 wk ago
On-siteManufacturing$26–$35/hrFull-time

Long Wall Company was created in 2024 to accelerate missile defense technology for the U.S. and our allies. Building on the RS1 and GS0 launch systems, we develop containerized, mass-producible missile defense systems and offer rapid, low-cost flight testing. We believe the future of global security and stability requires defensive technology that is lower cost, higher performing, better tested, and more broadly distributed.

What We Look For

  • Mission-Driven Problem Solvers: Team members who approach challenges with curiosity, embrace failure as a learning opportunity, and stay focused on delivering the best solution for the mission.
  • Total Ownership: Staff and engineers who take full responsibility for contributing to and delivering flight-ready work while recognizing that no one succeeds alone. The best engineers, corporate professionals, and technicians make their teammates better, leveraging complementary skills to drive mission success.

About the Role

As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining all facilities across our El Segundo and Port of Long Beach campuses. This role contributes to every mission and flight we fly as we continue to reimagine the future of missile defense systems. We seek a technician who enjoys solving problems independently, takes ownership of projects, works effectively in a fast-paced environment, and shares our passion for building infrastructure to support our company’s goals.

  • Operate and deliver complete and on-time work assigned through our mobile CMMS software.
  • Support external vendors and contractors onsite for larger-scale projects.

  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, or facility drawings.
  • Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or similar work order/maintenance tracking software.
  • Valid driver’s license, with reliable transportation to travel between campuses.
  • Comfortable performing work in elevated locations, tight spaces, and other physically demanding facility environments.
  • Effective communication (written and verbal).
  • Ability to problem-solve, self-manage, make common-sense-driven decisions, and demonstrate attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ownership of tasks.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working across multiple teams.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry, engineering, or construction sectors, or in a fast-paced environment with constantly shifting priorities and deadlines.
