About the role
Little League International in Williamsport, PA is seeking a full-time Facilities Technician to join their Facilities team. The position offers a competitive salary commensurate with skills and experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including a flexible work arrangement program.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on building interiors and exteriors
- Perform preventative maintenance on small engines, various heavy equipment, and machinery
- Run and operate heavy equipment as needed
- Assist with all routine HVAC, plumbing, and electrical maintenance
- Support with daily maintenance operations including setup for visitors, clinics, workshops, meetings, and seminars
- Trash removal and general cleaning of the facility
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required, with apprenticeship, trade experience, or vocational school graduate preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant and verifiable building maintenance experience
- Forklift, Telehandler, High-Lift, and heavy equipment certification a plus or willingness to obtain
- Basic general working knowledge of one or more maintenance areas such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and masonry repairs
- Experience operating a variety of power tools, small and heavy equipment
- Ability to assist with technical services to building systems including HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Read and comprehend blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and take direction
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on small engines and facilities equipment
- Inspect facilities and grounds for safety and security; identify and report hazardous conditions and maintenance needs
- Maintain records and logs of daily activities and preventative maintenance schedules
- Demonstrate technical knowledge and competence
- Have a good understanding of general maintenance processes and methods
- Show good organizational skills and prioritize workload
- Communicate effectively
- Work safely and maintain a positive attitude
- A valid driver's license and proof of insurance as required by the state
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Be frequently exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions (hot or cold)
- Be able to climb ladders, steps, and scaffolding associated with the performance of duties for this position
Qualifications
- Trade or Vocational school graduate preferred
- Knowledge of welding a plus

Schedule
This full-time non-exempt position has core hours of Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. You may be eligible to participate in our Flexible Work Arrangement Program. While the majority of the work is performed Monday - Friday, it requires the ability to work nights and weekends throughout the year when special events are held or in emergency situations.
